We can walk anywhere in Bhutan. On weekends, plan a walk into the woods with your family. Wear good walking shoes, and take walking sticks and drinking water in a bottle and music if you like. Since we don't have any restaurants or shops on our walks into the forest, we also carry our packed lunches and snacks. Teach the children not to litter though and make sure you bring back your trash.

Along the way we enjoy many beautiful scenes, waterfalls, flowers, birds, crystal clear lakes and gushing streams, prayer flags strung up on a green hill, sounds of birds and the water flowing... nature at its best.

Maybe you would like to plan a walk into the woods with your family today or next week, take the chance. It will surely make you feel happier that you did. We enjoyed our walk so much and i wanted to share a few photos.

hi belliott,

thank you for the comment. These bridges are okay, and the drop down is not far. Just take the help of your walking sticks or a friend's arms and you will be fine. Hope you will enjoy your walk.

I like to walk in the woods but would probably turn around and go back if i came across those wooden planks you call a bridge unless the drop wasn't very far down :) Looks like a beautiful area.
